BioHi. I'm a 27 y.o. gay male who's just moved to the Takoma neighborhood of DC. I like vegetarian food, activism, and nerdy pursuits (TV shows, movies, discussions, board games, wasting time online, etc). I also enjoy the range of things that most people enjoy - chilling with friends, going out occasionally, and so forth.
Most of my posts are friends-only, because I mainly use LJ to keep up with friends I no longer live near. So it goes. My non-friends-only posts tend to be about politics (I'm a big lefty) or current events or other random things.
I just finished my PhD in social psychology at OSU and have started work (*gasp* the real world!) for a left-leaning think tank in Washington.
